MAC OS - Client not working

I have a

2021 14 Inch M1 Macbook Pro 16GB running Ventura 13.0

The client worked yesterday, but out of nowhere, today after it opens and downloads patch, this error message pops up

(null): "Path of Exile.app" couldn't be copied to "Path of Exile" because an item with the same name already exists

I have deleted and reinstalled it multiple times, but does not seem to solve the issue.

my friend im trying to get into the game for new league is having the same problem. he also has reinstalled a few times but cant get past the launcher with same error.

Have the same, any updates on this?

did you tried to allow disk access for poe ? (System Preferences > Security & Privacy)
i got a problem with steam client and it solved doing this.
