Blasphemy support + less curse effect.

"We have added penalties to both Blasphemy and Hextouch Supports which grant less curse effect at all gem levels."

I dont agree a tiny bit with the Blasphemy part... you already reserve a good chuck of your mana. Blasphemy hasnt been in too much of a use just because how bad curses are against the most important stuff. Now that curses are actually good you decide to nerf stuff that wasnt used to begin with.

I think some hexblast builds were using a single blasphemy just to trigger the aoe aspect of the skill and deaths aura builds also usually run despair on blasphemy. Other than that, i dont see any other build wanting to use blasphemy because of the high mana resersvation requirement.
I already made another post about this as well.
The only build I play, that wants to run Blasphemy (Despair/Temp) is Poisonous Concoction.

But even here I just swap to Bane for any difficult boss fight and run another aura besides that.

Less Curse Effect on Blasphemy makes little to no sense, as it already has high investment requirements in mana reservation + area nodes.

agreed, blasphemy reserves so much mana as is, that is its downside, its curses should be equal... or even stronger than self cast since you are using it over an aura.
A nerf to blasphemy was expected as the first thing when curses are being reworked.

Sucks though, since a more positive rework would have been nice.

That applies for many more things so I think we are still in line with the Developers decisions on how to make the game.
I think the reservation is enough of a downside as well.
I'm probably +1 to the reserve is enough of a downside camp too tbh, it depends on the numbers on the gem it might be that its fairly light as penalty goes but if its a big one I think its too much.
Sounds like a buff to me still.

Curses never mattered for mapclear - or if they did, your build had some serious issues to begin with.

66% reduced curse effect for bosses removed is massive.
Assuming about 50% reduced res from any of the ele curses across the board would have been reduced to 17% - the rest would simply not apply and that in itself made Blasphemy pretty bad in this scenario.

As long as the new numbers are better than that, its a buff and thats not a tall order.


Besides: Elder amulets still exist, reducing the required investment needed to some sockets. Thats not bad.
If blasph curses had full effect, the half of the league would be people wearing




and the rest.


I doubt it, major slot tradeoff for something you can get anyway. Be good for impresence to be improved though
