"Skeletons are permanent minions" but have to be re-summoned after logging-out

Alberon's Warpath boots states the following : "Skeletons are Permanent Minions and Follow you"

However whenever I logout they die, unlike spectres/golems/zombies.

It's a boot slot taken to get them to have the same caracteristics as "Permanent minions", so why aren't they automatically re-summoned/don't linger through instances ?

Can you please fix this ?

dont think it will be fixed, because they would probably have to fix it on the gem itself which could lead to problems

i can be very wrong with this though

they probably got them to be permanet with a "infinite duration bonus" so they would technically still be temporary

I mean, is this a problem? With zombies, spectres, and AG, you have to use the skill on something for it to work. With skeletons, you can just click anywhere and they exist.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish.

We are talking about an entire gear slot just for this particular behavior and it isn't working as intended.
So yes, it is a problem, because the entire purpose is to not re-summon them, otherwise it removes the point of having such boots in the game.

Also it's not just the boots, you have to make them tanky enough to not die, because as a reminder they have 5k life at gem level 23 with majority of tanky nodes on the tree + Bone barrier ascendancy taken, they die very fast without (way more than regular minions) investement...
Has it not occurred to you that the change to the boots were a nerf, then? Bear in mind that they previously gave you +1 to skeleton cap which meant that's one more DPS minion you could've summoned. Considering the massive nerf hammer that GGG dropped on the summoner archetype, it would make sense that Alberon's rework would also be a nerf.

You've said yourself that the skeletons are fragile which means you have to go above and beyond to make them survivable. Why go through that effort to have an even bigger hoard of minions when a good portion of them will die to a sneeze? Wouldn't it just be easier to spec them into DPS and add a cluster jewel with Blessed Rebirth instead?

Sadly this isn't the point, the boots are meant to make them permanent, fragile or not, nerf or not.

That's like saying why would you play offensive spectres when they can just be supports and make you have more damage... the person would just tell you "because I want to play offensive spectres, so what ?"

I tried the boots, but the permanent nature is really not helpful due to their quick deaths. My skeletons are just extra damage and meat shields (my main dps is zombies). Giving up other stats for that aspect didn’t seem worth the trade off.

That is what Pizz was referring too. It’s not too difficult to spawn your skeletons when needed for a boss or tough fight.

Well if the topic was on "Do you think it's worth it to use Alberon's Warpath boots?" that would be relevant...

However it's about technical issues with the boots not working properly and needing a fix because the rework wouldn't make sense otherwise.
