Oba's cursed trove should not have the crafting recipe it does

It's just plain idiotic and frustratingly poor game design. It's getting more and more annoying how many basic mistakes were made in the late game design.
Oba's trove presently has a vital late game crafting recipe; not just one of the ordinary recipes that are useful but replaceable, but an irreplaceable one that's necessary to let you make good late game crafts. And what is it trapped behind? a DPS check. I can't do oba's trove because my DPS isn't high enough to clear it before the death timer starts. There shouldn't be DPS checks straight up blocking my progress. It doesn't matter how viable your build is in general, not enough DPS you just plain lose. That map was maybe challenging 6 years ago, i mean come on you can't be serious.

Unless you're playing SSF and/or running a melee strike build that isn't LS, there's no reason you shouldn't have the DPS needed to tackle Oba's.
And I just checked your profile. You're running an SSF gladiator. You've kinda put yourself in this hole, you absolute masochist. :P PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. Agree, I think DPS checks of any sort are bad game design. If someone likes playing tanky characters and doesn't mind spending 30 minutes on a boss, let them. It's not like they can do any broken farming at that pace.
