Adding "Minions are aggressive" to one of the reworked Unique Jewels
|
This should help summoners who clearly aren't in the greatest place lately.

Ideally you could just select what stance you want them to take without needing to use a gem or jewel, but since that's not an option currently, I'll say yes please to your suggestion.

would love to see this added as a white gem buyable from gem vendor like detonate mines
sure it would take 1 gem slot and summoner are already limited on that, but beeing able to freely change the stance of all minions (unless affected by an overwriting support gem like meatshield) would be worth it |

I'd very much like to be free of feeding frenzy and or empower, empower is not likely to change but not that long ago rare wands got a "minions are agressive" option Having a jewel would help a lot, my wands are unique and no rare alternatives exist so i cant use the rare wand craft without mythic orb shenanigans and well good luck with that. Even if they did add a jewel its so tight on the skill tree i'd barely be able to fit it in. Innocence forgives you

A pair of white vendor gems with just "agressive" and "defensive" just to control minions behavior until we get to late act 3(or have chromes to adjust socket colors as we please) could be nice
Having more ways to get agressive minions is something that is indeed sorely needed. Feedfrenz is good for suport minions for the buff but it really sucks having to commit a gem slot on main minions just for the agressive mod. Not sure if just making a jewel mod would help considering minions are quite reliant on jewels nowadays, so having another mod to place might be pushing a bit an already busy slot But yeah, we need more sources of agressive, maybe in the form of uniqs? Good uniqs, idealy not another helmet as that slot is already very precious, and DEFINETLY not stuff like Maw, Maw is just not good designed, the thing lack good minions to use: temporary minions have too low hp, permanent minions either lack in number(golens and reaper) or are not disposable(zombs and spectres). It can be used with elementarist passive, but is still kinda akward as a channeling(and creates a window where you have no minions) Giving some love for uniqs that used to be build-enabling would also be nice... make baron-based builds viable again(bare minimun make the +2 to minions global to counter the removal of the ascendancy, idealy make it similar to other uniqs that change att bonuses so zombies get more melee than just 1% per 5 str, or make zombs get your full str) And make queen decree usable, like, at least update the damage bonus to be in line with the current state of the game(its a freaking 2h with bonus a wand can have on the implicit! What? Sure it gives more minions, but just 1 of each for, again, a 2h on top of the minimalist damage? huh?) Well, just more stuff on the massive pile of uniqs that have no place i guess |

" I agree, last unique rework was a good opportunity to bring some interesting things for minions and I'm looking forward next league for that. Hopefully they can come up with exciting stuff to build around for summoners! |

It think it would be great if we could just set the stance of minions for free without the need of affixes or support gems. Like a UI button for minion stance or a setting of the minion gem or something lie that. Don't think it would make the game too easy.

Should be a the alternate behavior of the gem. A real pita when I want some minions to guard me (I scare easily) and the others I want to go nuts after mobs.

" That would be ideal, I think Feeding Frenzy either needs a buff or we should have more options to change minions behavior (just like my suggestion of adding it in a jewel) |

+1 to pretty much all of these options. I'd even be happy to at least see each minion behavior added as an influence mod to the helm mod pool.
I'm most favorable of: The white gem idea making it a togglable "minion stance" skill. Yet having the caveat of this "minion stance" only changing the behavior of minions if their behavior isn't specifically changed by anything else Example: if one minion type has meatshield support making them defensive, all of the others will be changed by the stance skill Context of my situation: I'm currently wearing Maw of Mischief to get the right behavior on my minions. Missing out on the juicy +2 to minion gem level |
