Screaming Invitation WTF?

I beat the Eater of the world twice before, even deathless and it was surprisingly easy.
Now i just used 2 Screaming Invitations and got one shotted 12x times in a row not even seeing the Eater. No mods, just the vanilla invitation. What was that? This cannot be normal. I can tank the shaper slam and stand in his beam, but this time i couldnt even move a few steps. What defenses should widstand this insane damage?? Im bad at math. Did you accidentally make it the uber version with the atlas passive?

Yes.
But Level 85 sounded just slighly stronger. Remains the question... what has one to do to widstand that? Im bad at math.

It's quite a bit more than slightly. Very very few builds can actually tank anything at L85 (and those builds have some serious gear).
