Offline Single Player mode, please

I know it's not part of the development philosophy, but hear me out on this.

There is no reason, first of all, to not have a single player mode.
The game works as if it is single player anyway, and whoever wants to look smashing can go online for the microtransactions shop.

I would probably get a nice armor set myself. I was looking at the new stuff in Destiny 2 and I was thinking

Why should I buy a nice costume if the entire game will become unavailable ?

We are living exceedingly crappy times. Probably the very foot of the mountain.

My plan is to go completely offline as I will take measures to cut off my life from the system, as I will not be a part of this. I will lose access to online games such as Elder Scrolls Online and Destiny 2, and also Path of Exile, as Steam will probably prompt up a new login featuring the digital ID, where we'd have to show our Mark to prove our submission to the globalist masters.

Access to offline games will still be available if taking measures to protect our offline content. It means an entire different computing philosophy, using Qubes, Xen or Xen Server as a bare metal OS and running Steam in virtual machines that are in a full lockdown, with the Steam login staying offline for good. I have to devise an entire scheme about how to still be able to update Steam and probably get new games for as long as it will be possible, including adding new single player games without losing access to previously owned single player games in case of a login surprise.

This is where an offline mode would come handy. The game is beautiful, philosophical to a degree - I like to spend hours looking at the skill tree - and I really want to not lose access once the shit hits the fan.

not sure if serious or not...
If just would all be a joke so that we could sleep tight.

And yes, PoE has a separate login from Steam, but we have to fend off against unknown risks.

What if Internet itself will be brought down in order to be re-birthed in a way to suit the control needs of the progressive beast ?

Or what if all logins, from social media to gaming, will legally have to feature the digital ID, as a measure to track our "carbon footprint" ?

I couldn't care less about Facebook and such. I was a kid in the times before Internet. I can live without it. But not without my games.

I thought politics was off limits in this forum...?

Cut out all the politics bits, and your post might survive. Otherwise, I guess not. No one cares WHY you want to go completely off-line here.
Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.
Lol never going to happen, there is only downsides for GGG because modders would make a better game just like what happened with D2.
Top of the agenda for the New World Order - stopping people playing online video games

Don't be silly, they don't want you to stop playing.

Yes, they may play this on you - tell you that gaming is not "environmentally friendly" because of the "wasted" energy (wasted from their pov)

But they want you to be really appreciative for everything you're given, from food to gaming - that is, to be really "aware" about what you are doing. Not truly aware, but deluded by the environmental bullshit and to get you to censor yourself. Not because playing less would actually matter, but because that's the level of admission of being a slave.

Gaming will not stop and games will become even more stupendous. I hope to get Starfield and especially Elder Scrolls VI before the point of no return, which will happen sometime on the road to 2030.

They want to have a reporting mechanism on everything you do, and not just that. Also a control mechanism. Do you not want to have 19 degrees in your room in the winter ? They will incentivize you to have a digital system which will be remotely controlled and used against your preferences. Did you game too much today ? The process will stop when you touch X hours or when an AI decides you had too much for today.

See, reporting is a thing of the past. What's the fun to know everything people are doing if you can't make their life miserable, to make them really feel like ants in a line ?

This is why offline content is crucial. And have offline, non-connected, operating systems to allow old freedoms...
