Favoured Map: How often can I pick the same map?

Hi I would like to know if there is a limit to selecting the same map within favoured map slots.
At the moment I've put the same map in 8 slots and I'm wondering how useful that is... The only info I've been able to find about this is a poe tweet from 2020: " But that was back when we had regions; probably does not apply to the current atlas. Anyone has more info about this? If you want to spam single map, set all favored slots to it, and then pick singular focus node. Otherwise, I felt no real difference between 12 different favored maps and 4 maps with 3 slots for each.

" There is no limit. If you really want to farm just one map then you can set all slots o the same one. This doesn't seem to boost the chances though. As the other player mentioned you can use Singular focus but I found that not to be as effective as you might think. A boost of 200% sounds good but it doesn't prevent other maps dropping frequently so I'd use other nodes and skip Singular Focus. I have 6 different maps in the slots without it and have never had to buy any maps. The other thing you can do is use orbs of horizon on maps you get that aren't what you want. Those will flip maps to something else. Usually the 4 generic T16's but will also change one type into another if your running short. |
