trade issues

hi all - returning player trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

i find item on POE trade - go to copy message and it says "invalid query - your account need to be in game to use this" or "token is invalid"

any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm desperate to buy tabula rasa lol

I'm selling just fine so people are ale to see my things for sale etc I just cant use the direct message function

remove all your cookies / cache data and so on and make sure your are logged in to the trade site with the same account that you are playing on.
beeb to steam changed email
set new email on here to match new email so i KNOW they match,
still not working

i go on to trade and change from pc to ps4 and the send whisper works and copies but i i want that to work for PC sellers - sooo frustrating !!!!!
deleted game and all folders - reinstalled to new drive - NOTHING

I'm no sff player that's for sure haha

Hi there, Exiles! This may be a multiple account issue. You should be able to see your most recent character's portrait at the top left corner of the website when you are signed into the correct account.

If you are playing Path of Exile through a third party (i.e. Steam or Epic Games), please ensure that you are signing into the website using the green 'Sign in through Steam' or the 'Sign in through Epic Games' links on the website's login page.

If you are playing through the standalone game-client downloaded through this website, please ensure that you are signing into the website using the exact same email address and password that you use to sign into the game-client with.
