Transfiguration of Soul and Dot spells

does Transfiguration of Soul increase dot spells which scales with spell damage like vortex, flamewall

text on Transfiguration of Soul:

Increases and Reductions to Maximum Energy Shield also apply to Spell Damage at 30% of their value

text on Vortex:

Modifiers to Spell Damage apply to this Skill's Damage


so does the text on Transfiguration of Soul mean %30 of increase energy shield also will be increase spell damage? or it is just a increase which is added to spells damage you deal and dot will not be effected

As far as i know - this will work.
Same effect can be seen, f.e. when using Iron Will and Kinetic Bolt,
First one gives you "Strength melee bonus applies to spells" and second has "Increases and reduction to spell damage applies to attack damage with 200% of value". Thus more strength give you spell damage that then will give you attack damage for Kinetic Bolt.
