corrupting fever scaling: mods to look for + passive tree
Hi hive mind,
I'm building a corrupting fever glad and I'm at that weird point where I need to upgrade my gear and progress on my tree, but I can't afford clusters just yet and I want to be absolutely sure what damage mods carry to CF. What I know: 1) Bleed passives DO NOT work for corrupting fever 2) Phys DOT + DOT multis both work and are generally the best 3) Attack speed for quicker ramp up What I am unsure of: 1) Global phys damage or flat global phys (such as rustic belt, steel ring, passive tree mods, etc). My guess is % yes, flat no 2) Damage in general (such as via frenzy charges). My guess is yes 3) Hit damage and how it relates to corrupting fever. My guess is no relation as it's not bleed, but rather it's own skill. 4) Anything else I haven't mentioned Thanks for the assistance! " any global phys mod would work, so belt implicit yet, steel ring NO. Frenzy charges give generic more damage hit damage is irrelevant, that is for bleed to note, you CAN afford a cluster jewel, just go subpar, put it where it belongs and upgrade it when you can afford it, go for 1-2 notables and usable other affixs for now. craft your own mediums, get 1 notable, aug, regal, use it, get a 4 passive so you can always grab the notable you rolled and the jewel socket, 5 passive ones work only if you are going 2 notables. |

^Haha thanks. I don't think you realize just exactly how slow im playing right now....I only just bought my 6L with the 13c I had saved up. I haven't even started running chaos recipe yet. I'm upgrading gear first to get more life and stable resists/stats before heading to the clusters. Currency will be going to delirium essences before clusters.
well i mean i guess i could just pick up any random physical damage cluster for really cheap, but right now im just picking up some easy frenzy charge buffing Last edited by jsuslak313#7615 on Sep 15, 2022, 9:43:12 PM

" a blank 9 passive(lets be real, for budget 9 passives is fine) is 1c, master the fundamentals helps with resists, so you can alt spam for it, aug/regal and stick with it for a bit. |

yea i just didnt even consider something THAT far down lol. I was going for at least 9 passive / 2 notable.
But I'm totally fine grabbing a much more basic one provided i might be able to snap up some life on the small passives too. |
