Sirus fight, can't enter arena, Sirus spawns offscreen and one-shots player offscreen

First when Sirus creates 4 copies of himself channeling 4 beams in the middle which eventually creates rotating cross of beams, he was like 1.5 screens away from me. I only saw end of the beams. When I got closer, I got instantly killed by big beam offscreen.

I went back to reenter arena and storms would not move away enough for several minutes no matter where I stood. They moved tiny bit, but not allowing me to move away from the entrance.

Eventually I heard voice of Sirus and I was instantly killed by big beam offscreen.
