Cartographer strongbox

some players simply do not come across it, as if it does not exist for them!my friend and I ran through more than one hundred maps with the ambush mod + scarab ambush, but never met this chest, nor did it come across to any of us either in the temple of atzoatl or lake of kalandra....fix please.
Talants in atlas tree for imcrease chamce find this boz looks like don.t work.

Cartographer's Strongboxes are more common in lower tier maps - try running some T1s and see how you go.

I have had Cartographer's by running low tier (T1 - 5) plain maps with no scarabs. They do turn up.

You ran 20 maps and not all of them were low tier. This is nowhere near enough to claim anything about the effectiveness or rarity of anything.

I said they were more common in lower tiers, not common. They're still somewhat rare.

If you want it for the challenge, just keep playing. They will turn up when you are doing the more difficult challenges.

Only the one for operative strongboxes at the time - I didn't spec into the node for Cartographers chance.

lol i got to 40 challenge and i run over 200 maps with full atlas and scarabs and all still saw only 1 Cartographer's box :D in all time i played i saw maybe 3-5 and thats in a god dam month. i think ggg messed with numbers on that :D

I know that I am still anxiously awaiting a carto's box for the challenge. I'm at 900k kills and have had the carto atlas passives allocated for most of them (I practically raced those nodes). It's frustrating because I'd really rather do something else with those atlas passive points...

They also show up on Lakes with the 'less common types' strongbox tile. So for those in trade league buying such Tablets may be an option. Dont know if Lake tier and/or difficulty matters.

And anecdotal evidence: They show up "a lot" in maps. Also got one in a (IIRC, not 100% sure) T16 map. Most were in much lower tiers though.
