Cremator from Cluser Jewel notable not destroying corpses?

I am playing Ignite build with Shaper of the flame which makes all of my hits to apply ignite on enemies and I am running with Cremator notable from the cluster jewel and I noticed that Porcupine Goliath monsters still shoot out their spikes when they die even though Cremator notable should destory their corpse when they die after being inflicted with my ignite. Is there any known bug to the Cremator? or am I just missing something?

This is not a bug.

Cremator specifies that "Ignited Enemies Killed by your Hits are destroyed". You're killing with damage over time, not hits.
