...I was going to spend money, but I can not morally support the game in its current state. 10 years playing the first time this has ever happened. I still play I mean its free, but I don't think many will attend Exilecon. The irony in that word...

They sold out of the upper tier tickets in about ten minutes. If you can see past the frustrations of the moment it’s pretty obvious that you shouldn’t consider this week’s fiasco in your plans for nearly a year from now.

I was at the Blizzcon where they revealed diablo for phones. I witnessed first hand the "You guys don't have phones?" Moment. So strange watching the ship go down from the liferaft. I mean who would want to miss out on that? RIGHT? Yeah I paid 300 dollars for that life experience.

" I'd disagree with that. This fiasco is part of a longer term pattern that has been active for months; as such it becomes at least plausible that a year from now you'll still have issues. Companies do die now and then, albeit very rare; and when such happens, money spent on future goods can be near impossible to clawback. It's reasonable to take action to oppose things you disagree with even if in the future things are likely to get better. Things don't always get better; while many problems are temporary, sometimes they aren't. An important secondary consideration of course is what the resale market is like and the extent to which it is feasible to wait; which I'm just not familiar with. |
