If players can't get divines, then the ones selling items for divines won't sell their items, and will lower the price.

" From my experience that does not happen(it ofcourse should) Even when there is perfect mirror service avaible for something people still price 25% worse stuff at mirror or more and let it rot there for 3 months not accepting offers and then it keeps rotting in the remove only tab in standard. If things do not sell people will just wait, this may not be the case for very common items but it is the case for anything that matters like +2minion wands. Yes it is likely not going to happen to kaom heart and other less popular things, but for darkscorn or whatever will be meta i can see people rather waiting than getting less. I wish people would just keep trading in exalts because those have shards, it is crucial for the 1.4exalt (1.4 divine) trades because you can actually pay 1exalt and 8 exalt shards And we'd just agree that divine is exactly 10exalts and be happy to substitute 10ex for it I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty,
I feel pretty, and witty and gay, And I pity Any girl who isn’t me today! | |

Your experience is from Standard which has dead economy. Play league, where people dont have all the time in the world. In there people lower the price if item dont sell after few days max otherwise their item will never sell and end up in the graveyard.

" This might actually happen. Will be interesting to see in temp league. I guess people who will accept a mixed bag of divine, exalts and chaos are going to make the most profit. Heart of Purity

" Divines will be worth alot. Wouldn't ne surprised if they stabilize at 300-400 chaos. Not being able to use Divines for their intended purposes is going to be annoying. |

Divine change looks more like a last-day-into-release change from GGG rather than a thoroughly planned story. There just too many flaws it brings to the economy ballance, game satisfaction and crafting.
PoE1 nowadays looks more and more like a fan-made fork server with tons of custom weird experimental stuff rather than original game with carefully thought out balance brough live to players.

" I don't think this is true. I think the one oversight they made was overlooking the divine vessel recipe. But they knew the impact this had and even stated in the video that this is going to be a clear shakeup of the economy. That's why they also nerfed unique item drop rates. Perfectly rolled low tier unique are going to so rare because no one is divine spamming them that they are actually going to be worth trading. Things like Abyssus, or Rythlathsa's coil where you really need to divine them to make sure the negative mods are as minimal as possible. So yes, this is going to really shake up the economy just like they planned. People will cry and eventually get used to it. There's now a whole new currency strat posssible by farming unique items and Id'ing for good rolls. |
