Char's poison & minion's poison.
Hello GGG.
I have a question about poison stacks applied by Character and his minions. Are those stacks applied independently of each other and don't stack together because sources are different? Last edited by Marrut#6836 on Aug 13, 2022, 3:08:34 PM Last bumped on Aug 13, 2022, 11:51:43 PM

Shouldnt matter if you or your minions apply the poison, all should stack on a target and effect it for their respective duration/deal their respective damage.
It will matter for secondary effects for poisons inflicted by "you" though, like plague bearer and the like (your minions are not you so their posions are not inflicted by you). "Glattes Eis, ein Paradeis, für den, der gut zu tanzen weiß" - F. Nietzsche

It can matter at one point. When you use The Golden Rule jewel.
When you try to inflict poison, it will reflect back to you. But how exactly it works when my minion is applying poison stacks at the same point. Will this jewel reflection reflect ONLY my poison, even before the system will try to add it to full stacks of poison stacks, or after? It's a possible bug that sequence Minion's poison stack + Char's poison + The Golden Rule mechanic will reflect minion's poison stack together with Char's poison stack, so both. Can't test it out. If poison stacks had different pools like Char's poison stacks/Minion's poison stacks, it could be visually tested on mobs. |

Dont worry about that: Poison stacks on mobs are not limited in amount, only by the duration they have (you could theoretically bring an infinite amount of poison stacks on a mob if you attackspeed is high and the poison duration is long enough (and the mob would survive infinte lol))
But yea, only the poisons you inflict will be reflected by the golden rule (they are still on the mob as well though, you just get poisoned too). "Glattes Eis, ein Paradeis, für den, der gut zu tanzen weiß" - F. Nietzsche

Poison has no stack limit. Minion mods are also completely independent from yours. Golden Rule only affects you, and there is currently no method in this game to allow it to affect your minions (unless it's bugged as you say).
