Enemy Bleed is almost irrelevant in today's PoE and it's such a cool mechanic
You're bleeding. You can choose to stand still, which is very dangerous in PoE, or you can choose to move, which triples the damage. Decisions, decisions, and IN COMBAT nonetheless! A relief from the normal run-in-circles or kite banality.
Suggestion: Standardize Physical Degen to various effects of Bleed, ones with on-hit and ones without. Whatever damage is inflicted is scaled according to tripling the damage when moving. Corrupted Blood immunity is an absolute no-brainer in the endgame and bleed just comes for free on top of it for some reason. Way to make the mechanic even less relevant. Also, if the damage is too high to argue throwing it at many mobs, then lower the on-move damage to double damage. It's way too rare to be inflicted with Bleeding at the moment, mainly because it's only applied by skill shots and melee attacks. Maybe make more AoE attacks that bleed and then lower the damage to something reasonable (let's face it, triple damage existed when triple shocked was also something you wanted in your game). again crucial errors in your posts like in your spell suppression thread
at this point it really seems intentional most common endgame corrupted blood immunity is jewel implicit or the mastery on the passiv tree since a lot of ppl go for +max resi |

It's weird that you say enemy bleed, specifically the action of a physical attack causing you to open a wound and bleed from it, not corrupting blood, which is ALSO a physical degen but a bit different, is in any shape irrelevant..
WHILE the majority of players (small sample size to be honest, I just went to check the first 50 players I could see in HC Sentinel on poe.ninja, and saw that about 40 out of 50 ran a bleed flask, while all of them had CB immunity in some form), has remove bleeding on their flask... Can you guess why? Because it's not irrelevant. When it hits you, it'll hurt and very likely murder you, too. The only status effect that is enemy inflicted that I think truelly feels like you can completly ignore it for the most part, is Poison. Even hinder / maim pose a bigger threat personally. |

Try having your mouse cursor exactly on the center of your screen so that your cycloner doesn't accidently move while attacking. Bleeding sucks. As it is DoT it completely ignores armour which is the main "base"-defense of melee which are also the ones that will get hit and applied bleed to first.
Bleeding is another F*** YOU to melee. |

Make bleeding great again, also remove movement speed prefix on boots, its ruining the game

" Uhm, no.. As it currently stands, only physical damage can cause you to bleed, and the stronger the physical hit to cause a bleed is, the stronger the bleed on you is... And the main mitigation of physical hits is armour, which weakens the physical hit, which weakens the strength of the bleed, which reduces the ammount of damage you take from said bleed. Corrupting blood works I believe "similiar" but still different enough to suck, but CB immunity jewel / mastery is so... mandatory nowadays that you barely pay attention to it (additionally, flasks can remove it, too) So, your statement is wrong... |

" Bleeding is calculated from the base physical damage of an attack, no matter what increases or reductions are applied (by mitigation or whatever). The only thing that can lower the damage of an actual bleed is flat physical damage reduction (endurance charges for example). So yea, "armour" actually does nothing against bleed. Let me know when player Bleed is viable then enemy bleed has an reason to exist.
Enemy bleed doesn't even need a buff since Enduring Cry + Second Wind got stomped. Degens/DoTs are the most busted source of enemy damage right now. "Never trust floating women." -Officer Kirac Last edited by Xzorn#7046 on Jul 31, 2022, 11:46:40 PM
