MOM , EB and CI interactions

Just to confirm my understanding,
if I take Mind Over Matter (MOM), Eldritch Battery (EB) and am Chaos Ino (CI),
elemental and physical damage is first soaked up by my ES, then remaining 30% of the damage is absorbed by my mana, and the 70% that goes through after that will kill me. Is this correct?

So i need to scale a beefy ES and mana as my effective HP.

No, because you can only ever have 1 HP with CI and everything that deals at least a single point of damage will kill you.

ok got it. So with CI, I cannot take EB since it protects mana instead, and MOM does not help much with the 30%.
