What's the point of the Library in Act 3?

Now that Lilly Roth is in the hideout ... and has all the gems.

For that one time on the first play through each league.

But yes that quest reward could probably be reworked and the gems added to clarissa.

At least something more interesting to do in that area and a better REWARD ... opps I forgot this game isn't about giving us rewards through the levels only at the end game grind ... ;)

shes also in act 6 but library is useful in case you need gems your character cant get before act 6

As someone in the middle of all ears/no stone unturned, it does actually have some neat lore, but finding all the books... so many instance reloads.

Some areas are a relic of the games former glory. That area quest used to reward some of the harder to get gems before you could just buy them. It still provides some utility, for instance in the gauntlet it helped me get the gems I would need to make it to Act 6 like Determination for a witch.

But yeah, it's a side area that probably needs a revisit.

Optional side quests are optional.

I skip it on most characters then end up regretting it since the rewarded gems are frequently ones one might want to buy with levels from a vendor.

I hope they buff the reward & make all quests more important.

Until you get Lilly in Act 6, it's useful to have most gems available in Act 3.
