map conversion failed

Ive just logged in and iv'e "Converted" my maps several times,

I started out with just about 1000 T16 maps maybe more, now I have like 790,

I had multiple uber/elder/shaper maps, and they are all gone..


I get a message saying, "Some maps could not be converted either due to lack of space, or no valid conversion found"

I refuse to vendor 760 maps... I was building a "collection"

now I have no choice , not to mention losing 10+ ex worth of uber/elder/ maps..


what can anyone do when this happens?

Well there are several things here regarding the "new" map conversion process.
1. Existing map stash tab are made remove-only.

2. Maps are converted into a new stash tab that is randomly placed in your stash tab list with a random name and color.

3. Maps are ONLY converted into thier native map tiers and for tier 16, this is ONLY 4 maps.

4. So when those 4 native tier 16 maps sub tabs are full, no more tier 16 maps can be converted.

Also uniq maps are all converted into their native map tier, so here you will loose ALL your high tier uniq maps (this has been on the known bug list for several years now).
