question about vaal righteous fire + righteous fire

as the title says.. at one point it worked for me, vaal rf and rf.. then suddenly vaal rf wont proc anymore, and i dont know what i did wrong, can anyone help ?

explain what you mean 'proc'

vaal skills *cant* be triggered.

vaal gems give you 2 skills, the normal version AND the vaal version. if you support a vaal skill gem with something like 'cast when damage taken', it can ONLY trigger the normal version. the vaal skill has to be manually activated.

what you should do, is just use the vaal RF gem in your 6 link. this gives you normal rf that can always be on, plus vaal rf, fully linked to all of your best support gems.

now i see!! so thats why it shows 2 skills when i hover on vaal rf, i didnt know that vaal rf gives 2 skills the regular one and the vaal one, cuz i was using 2 gems the vaal and the regular one, with the vaal on a 4 link and the regular one on a 6link.. thank you very much for this info :)
