Nor their spawn rate, nor their rewards are close to their original 3.17 form.
Overall, - 769 maps, - 2004 altars, - 2,605 altars per map, - 3 normal eldritch currency, - ~580 lesser, ~220 greater, ~370 grand, - 27 altars with monsters % chance to drop scarabs, - only found 3 times 6 or more (6, 8, 6) elritch altars in the same map, - and had it once to spawn 3 altars in the same screen in a corridor on crimson temple. With this low average, exarch's first 50/50 helped more on average than eater's global 30% increased. All-time non-streamer luckless dropless rewardless tons-of-time-playing non-TFT-er 100% solo player. So, it just turns out, we were lied to for years with the promises of a two-storied one PoE 4.0.
