not a bug, recombinators are taking parts of 2 items and smashing them together unpredictably.

Mirrored is a special modifier that spawns on items from strongboxes with the 'of Kalandra' suffix, or when the player uses a

Mirror of Kalandra
on a piece of equipment. Items with this modifier can't be altered in any way.

edit: there is no discussion about this. Mirrored items have always been unmodifiable and you cannot mirror a mirrored copy. It is intended to not be able to modify or copy a mirrored item

you aren't modifying a mirrored item, you are deleting a mirrored item and potentially stealing mods from them(everything could also just go poof).

you can also use corrupted items with recombinators which cannot be modified(outside of sockets and tainted currencies)

What's the issue here? People taking mirrored uber items and slamming them with recombinators in the hopes of getting most the mods on an unmirrored item?

Very expensive gamble. I could only see it being worth it on standard with the whole mirror gear mafia. Breaking that would be nothing but good.
