Timekeeper's Hideout: Can we get a little more waterfront space to build, please?

I do love this hideout but I think that it would be even greater if we had a little more space to build. Currently the edges are super restrictive, e.g. this

is as far as I could push that lantern towards the water. So it would be really awesome if we could not only use this area but could also get some of this, e.g. for adding boats and stuff. :)
