Farming Eater of Worlds in SSF
Hey there,
I'd like to farm the Eater of Worlds endgame boss that appears every (up to) 28 maps. Right now, I'm playing SSF and do maps normally - doing all the league mechanics and finish the map boss. It'd be much faster just entering the map, spawn the influenced mobs so that the counter increases, portal out and do the next map. That way, one could probably farm the Eater of Worlds every 10 minutes or so. However, I don't know how to get all the map drops then one would need. For them to drop, one has to do the map content normally, because buying maps from other players isn't possible in SSF. Are there any strategies or tips to solve this problem, reducing the time it takes to drop the invitation while not running out of maps? Would appreciate any help! Since they removed the map sustain from boss rushing, I think the best thing to do is optimise your atlas tree for map drops so you have a bigger-than-normal surplus. You can then use these to slightly speed up EoW cycles in the manner you described. Unfortunately I think this is your best bet.
