Bane linked Curses not aplying

Not sure whats happening here, but the curses linked to Bane Skill are not aplying to the enemy and is not counting for the plus damage
I'm currently using Malediction and have 2 curses attached to Bane. Was working before lab

Experiencing this bug as well, and it seems to be intermittent. Bane doesn't apply the curse and the damage doesn't increase when socketing/unsocketing Despair from it, and Despair is hard-castable instead of being greyed out. Both times I've noticed this happening, the Bane gem has been very near or at its exp cap for the level.

Leveling the Bane gem

Things which haven't fixed it:
Relog
Zone change
Character levelup
Leveling the curse gem
Changing order/placement/number of gems
Changing what item it's socketed in

This may or may not be related to what I'm experiencing. I'm currently playing hexblast. I'm noticing when there is a mob/pack with consecrator, it will constantly remove my curses; therefore I can't get any doom stacks. This seems completely different from hexproof, as I can at least gain doom stacks on those. Consecrator mobs I have to just run away from.

It's really the lvl requirement of the curses skills. The curses lvl can't be higher than the bane lvl.
Honestly, didn't remember this skill was like this.

no, it's not only the gem lvl. In your case - yes, seems the solution. I have the same problem Mankrik147 is describing: Bane is Lvl 11, punishment+despair lvl1. it's not working, not applying any curse/dmg modifier. and yes, have +2 curses - also not working with 1 curse only. Levelled a new Bane up to lvl7 - still not working.
weird, and bad as a Ban0r :-(
