POE 2 needs to have way better performance or game over

How the hell do i get a better performance playing lost ark with 200+ ping and with 4-8 players at same time then 50 ping in Path of exile?
This is not a "haha Lost ark is better" post I want both games to be good. And Lost ark has its fair share of problems but the game runs really smooth.
And we are in 2022 and any game that doesnt run butter smooth deserves all the hate. Now i have no hope for Path of exile but I do have hope for Path of exile 2. Now everyone might think "duh its obvious moron... ofcourse they gonna work on the performance" But i am worried they are just gonna halfass it and call it a day.
So please please GGG make the performance of Path of exile 2 the top priority.

Its game over then. There may be some improvement(minor), but honestly they are stuck with what they built.

I actually have hope for PoE2, i think its very possible they are making a new game from scratch because how bloated poe is and how they cant get rid of the atrocious legacy coding from back when GGG was a super small developer without basically re-writting the entire game, so they simply deemed better to start from scratch

I mean, if you think about it objectivelly, it just dosent make a whole lot of sense to announce PoE2 if its not for the main reason of getting rid of legacy code and patch-up the general bloat. Generally speaking, it is a bad move to launch a sequel when your current game is still alive by the community, it makes sense for blizz to launch a D4 because D3 is currently basically a ghost town, shooters are a bit of an exeption just because they are commited to the schedule of a new launch every year, but thats not the chase at all with poe. Poe still recieves new content on a super regular basis, so making a sequel while you arent done with your current game is quite unusual(and risky, if the new game fails to deliver, you run a legit risk of either weakening the original game or even outright killing BOTH games)

poe 2 isn't a new game, so unless there are spaghetti improvements as well its just a super big patch, new campaign, new ascendancies, new socket system, likely new atlas stuff and more.

It looks like most of people writting about PoE 2 haven't even seen any of the previews or developer presentations.

Well, this "super big patch" is basically going to change or alter every single part of the game. The devs were especially proud about performance improvements due to "new" engine.
Rumors say it is going to incorporate the Unreal Engine 5.

I just start rumors and then ride the wave...wheeeee...

quite exactly what i said in the past. i dont need new content in poe2. just good performance, less bugs, more qol. removal of annoying stuff. less rng nonsense.

`From just quick sweep of your characters, toxic rain, golems .. sure, non meta... sure.` LOL
`What are divs?`
Man I've got some bad news for those who think a 'next gen' game (poe 2 isn't even close to release yet) will somehow have better performance then the current version.

If your aging pc can't handle poe right now, why on earth do you think it'l fare somehow better in poe 2?
If POE wants to compete with the other AAA games, it definitely needs an overhaul on its performance and mechanics.
Making it easy to level up and updating graphics aren't going to cut it.

The top 10 steam games are strategically moba pvp, exploring of amazing 3D worlds, endless creativity crafting, the top games are not top because they looked good or because they have loads of content, they are at the top because they have what players want to do.
