Shock Nova & reduced area of effect

I was trying to theory craft a build and want to know if there is a minimum area of effect on shock nova.

The idea was to get reduced area of effect on shock nova so that triggering it with a melee skill will guarantee both ring & nova hit the melee target, effectively doubling the damage.

However, in testing it looks like there is a minimum aoe which prevents this. I tested it with (for theory crafting purposes);

Anomalous conc effect = 40% Less
2x Astral Proj = 40% Less
4x intensity = 45% Less

For a total of 125% less area of effect.

Based upon other examples I've seen, this should have made the skill have 0 radius, and do no damage. However there is still a sizable circle on the cast.

Am I misinterpreting the "Less Area of Effect" modifier, or is there an inherent minimum radius on shock nova?

Any insights appreciated!

Wiki says "The initial ring has a fixed width"
Less modifiers are multiplicative with another, not additive.

Assuming you use a level 1 Intensify with 4 stacks of Intensity, you would reach roughly 20% of the base area of effect, which is about 44.7% of its base radius.

There is a way to reach 0 area of Effect, which is by stacking legacy cluster jewels in standard with the notable that grants an additional maximum stack of Intensity.

If a spell has an area of 0, it does not hit any enemies, even if the centre of that area overlaps with an enemy's radius.

I do not know what happens to Shock Nova if you have 0 area of effect.
