PathOfExile.exe vs PathOfExile_x64.exe vs Client.exe

Hello,

The PoE client has changed a bit over the past 2-3 years. As the 64-bit client became a thing (especially under the Steam install) you previously had to explicitly choose to launch the 64-bit version of the client.

Today, with the stand alone client (and I presume, Steam install?) a fresh install of the game points the game shortcut to PathOfExile.exe (~45MB). I would like to confirm if this will automatically choose to run a 32-bit vs 64-bit version of the client.

I see there is also Client.exe and PathOfExile_x64.exe, both only 536KB in size. I'm guessing these are just there for backwards compatibility?

Thanks!

The game no longer has a 32 bit version of the client.
Client.exe and PathOfExile_x64.exe is just a stub and left there for backwards compatibility.
PathOfExile.exe is the main PE64 executable file.
Problem: impostor syndrome
Solution: nerf everything
Result: depressing mess

That's about what I assumed, but wanted to verify. Awesome and thanks!
