Farm quality gems

Hello everyone

Im wondering where I should farm for 10%-20% quality gems(fire gems) if possible so I can use the vendor recipe for +1 fire skill gems on my scepter. Thanks alot

A T2 or T3 gem room in the Temple is probably the closest thing there is to target farming gems. Just clearing one of those rooms would more than likely give you enough quality gems for that recipe. You can also choose gem drop chance from the influence altars in maps, or run other side content like Safehouses, Blight, or Heist. But those are all much more RNG based as to whether you'll be able to get gem rewards at all.

If you're not SSF, just buy someone's cheap Temple off trade that has a T2 gem room and you should be good to go for what you're after.

There are still functional +1 recipes for rune dagger/sceptre/staff/wand.

Heists with gem boxes are another good source of gems with quality.

I only really pick up gems for the gemcutter recipe so I only see quality of 14 or higher. In my experience, I get the most gems from heists, then expeditions with "drops an additional gem", then maybe the gem rooms in temples (sometimes they drop a crapton of like, quality of 6 gems that aren't worth picking up).

Thanks alot I will run the temple, kinda like it there. What is the name of the gem room? Can it be t3?


You can still craft +1 any ele spell on scepter a with gems

Gemcutter's Workshop->Department of Thaumaturgy->Doryani's Institute

And yep, T3 will work just as well as T2, of course (and give you your chance at double corrupting as well). You just want at least a T2. T1 rooms only have 1 gem vessel, and if it pops lower quality gems it probably won't net you enough for the recipe in one run.

Is the rooms randomly generated? Because I don't have any of those rooms atm
