Horticrafting Jewel modifier question-

One of the recipes I have in the hort bench says "Set a new Implicit modifier on a Cobalt, Crimson, Viridian or Prismatic Jewel"
Does this mean it will replace the current with a different implicit- or add an extra under the existing? Want to be clear on it before I go throwing it on an important build jewel. Specifically Dead Reckoning... Last bumped on Mar 1, 2022, 12:39:44 AM

implicit.
most jewels do not come with implicits. this jewel has an implicit. its that recovery mod at the very top. you cant brick your dead reckoning with this craft. and *IF* it somehow does, ill buy you a new one, theyre 5c in league now. Last edited by Thror2k5#7154 on Feb 28, 2022, 11:35:23 PM

Ah- alright, thanks for clarification. I haven't done much actual crafting stuff, so am not real solid on which types of modifiers are what... I need to research and learn some more. Appreciate it.

you can also vaal it and hope to get a vaal implicit.
the big money is corrupted blood cannot be inflicted upon you. but not being silenced means you can always spellcast however, vaals can also brick it completely, by turning it into a rare jewel or a special corrupt unique jewel. so dont do this unless you are prepared to buy a new one. Incidentally, mine gave me kind of a crap mod that I get no use from. 10% Increased Duration of Frenzy Charges. /sigh |

" the good news is, the harvest craft that adds an implicit doesnt corrupt your jewel. if you get another opportunity to add an implicit this way, you can use it on this jewel again. itll replace the current frenzy implicit with something else. not saying the something else will be useful, but it cant get worse :p |
