Question about map boss

Hi, are Shaper/Elder Guardians and Conqueror considered Map Boss? i heard someone say yes and another say no.

Shaper guardians *are* map bosses. Elder Guardians *replace* map bosses. Sirus Guardians are *additional* bosses.
