Divine Blessing & Mana Reservation Efficiency

I'm using grace socketed in a pair of March of the Legion boots and when calculating the divine blessing mana cost, mana reservation efficiency is not taken into account. The converted cost is calculating grace at 50% instead of my reduced amount (currently at 23.7%).
Current in game cost with a 1000 mana pool: 1000 * 0.5 (grace aura cost) + 278 (divine blessing flat cost) = 778 total cost What it would be when considering mana reservation efficiency: 1000 * 0.237 (grace aura cost reduced by reservation efficiency) + 278 (divine blessing flat cost) = 515 total cost I checked both the patch notes and the in game gem description and nothing seems to indicate it should calculate based on un-modified mana reservation cost? Did you calculate Empower, Inspiration and Increase duration cost and reservation multipliers?

I removed all the other gem links in the boots before I did the math to make sure that there were no other multipliers layered on top. It was just Grace in the boots nothing else.
You are correct it doesn't reserve any mana but the divine blessing gem calculates its mana cost by converting the mana the gem would reserve to a flat cost and then adding an additional flat amount of mana cost based on the gem level of the divine blessing. Intuitively if you reduce the cost of the reservation it should also reduce the converted flat cost of the gem when used with divine blessing. This doesn't seem to be the case, any amount of reservation is ignored and the cost is based on the full amount without any reductions. I tried purity of ice in the boots as well just to check if it was consistent with other gems and it has the same issue. |
