Skin of the Lords - Doomsday to Inner Conviction?

I have the Skin of the Lords with Doomsday keystone.

If I understand correctly, the Doomsday keystone should be active while you wear the armor. I tried to put the Militant Faith Timeless jewel near its radius but it doesn't seem to convert Doomsday into Inner Conviction. The UI shows it changed and inactive but my stats under charges tab doesn't say anything about the 3% more spell damage. Does Militant Faith not work in this case?

I havent tried it but I would expect that after changing the to Inner Conviction, Doomsday passive is no longer present on the tree so there is nothing to be allocated by your Skin of the Lords.

Shouldn't Keystone bonus given by equipment always give you the related bonus, regardless if the Keystone is in your tree or not? Voll's armour give you Conviction of Power, even without using a Templar jewel. If it actually allocates that Keystone on the Passive, I'd expect something like Anonintments, on the like of "Allocate Doomsday"

Of course, "no double Keystone bonus" applies.

You are right. Skin does not say "allocates" so it should grant it no matter if it exists on the tree

but still, the interaction OP is looking for should not work

Interesting. I guess Militant Faith would only work if it's something you manually allocated? The whole point of doing this is so I could get Inner Conviction by changing Doomsday. I guess I should get a Skin with Inner Conviction instead if there is.

Thanks to all who replied. :)
The only way to gain Inner Conviction other than by allocating a keystone altered by Militant Faith is Voll's Protector.

Skin of the Lords only grants keystones that are on the skill tree by default.
