Lycosidae and counterattack

Dears dev's,

Lycosidae offer 250 to 300 added cold damage to counterttack and that's really great BUT why Tempest Shield's lightning strike isn't considered as a Counterattack?

Tempest Shield's lightning only proc on Block. When, something comes from block it should be considered as a Counterattack isn't it?

So, could you add the tag Counterattack also to Tempest shield? Could make a new kind of build :)

Probably because Tempest Shield is a spell.

I know it's a spell but they should change Counterattack in Retaliate instead. Then Riposte etc etc etc become retaliate skills and Lycosidae offer bonus damage on retaliate skill instead of counterattack

Or also create a support gem : Cast on block support

I think most people going for the idea you have play the Surrender shield instead.
