Gilded elder scarab & maven influence

I don't seem to be dropping elder-influenced items.

Info:
I've run a couple of maps already with a gilded elder scarab and the maven's influence. I haven't gotten a single elder-influenced item in these maps. As a control, I've run a map without the maven active and only found 2. Which seems a bit low in comparison to the results I was used to in previous patches.
Am I just very unlucky here, is the drop rate lower, or is something bugged?

4 sextants, 1-2 involving packs of extra minions.
maps with ~60-80% quantity. Chisel, rare and corrupted.

Note: I do make progress towards the maven and the elder monsters are spawned into the map.

Same here,
different elder scarabs and not a single elder item is dropping from monsters.

The same happened with the Shaper influence scarabs. I ran a couple of maps with the Rusted Shaper scarabs and I didn't get any influenced item. I backtracked and ALT'ed a whole map at some point, but no Shaper influenced items. I thought it was just bad luck. Maybe it's bugged?
