The Self Found League

I actually find that kind of funny. It's hard to believe that people are as aggravated by the economy as they are by either suddenly losing 15% exp or else suddenly losing their entire character and all it's gear. But yeah, I'm one of them. I find the economy to be much, much more of a hindrance to my game play than the occasional random death. The economy, as it sits right now, is absolute certain death to every single character I have.

Agree with that. If desync is rage, than the crafting and economy is despair.

No. I'd love to be wrong about that but I think self-found conflicts with their Vision(tm). I think they know if they made a self-found league where you could just play the game other leagues would depopulate almost instantly.

Maybe other leagues would depopulate, maybe not.

Either way, I don't see how it would affect their bottom line unless they are making money directly from RM botters/websites.

Oh, I think it'd affect their bottom line greatly because it would massively expand their audience.

Wow this would be an amazing thing if implemented. I love descent and solo races because they are like this.

Self found league is something I would play, because I'm playing solo already due to old PC. But I really wonder how it would be better, because there really isn't anything hard in this game. No idea what I would even be doing after getting merciless piety down. Maps? lol

This would only work if there was open pvp to keep people interested after they have finished the game, killing computer AI gets boring after a while
