Ignite Proliferation Support + Berek's Respite

During mapping I noticed, that my ignites don't consistently spread between enemies.

While testing out some things I found out, that using Xoph's Nurture with inbuilt Ingite Proliferation Support doesn't seem to to count as "your kills" for the Ignite Proliferation of Berek's Respite. (Or overrides the behaviour of Respite completely)

I scoured through all the patch notes of the last league, but couldn't find any changes regarding this problem, so I assume this is an unintended interaction/bug.

This interaction used to work previously, since I already used it on similiar ignite builds.

I recorded a short clip to feature the problem in action. As you can see the ignites with Xoph's Nurture barely spread out, whilst the ignites without can clear entire packs over the screen. The units in the first few packs were certainly in the range of Berek's Pseudo-Proliferation.

This bug happens with all forms of ignite spread (Fan the Flames, Elemental Proliferation, Ignite Proliferation, and the Exarch glove implicit).

EDIT: THIS IS WRONG

I have tested that shocks with spread (via glove mod or elemental proliferation) will still be applied to nearby enemies when using Berek's Respite.

This bug seems to only happen with ignites.

I re-tested this and it seems to be broken with any ailment that has a spread radius.

You can see in this video that while the ignites proliferate over to the shrine packs, the shocks don't. I have the shock spread glove mod which is giving them the spread radius.

If this is a bug, it'll get more attention. If not, you'll have a chance to get an answer on this. Maybe there's a restriction that prevents them working together. Like one that prevents you proliferate from ailment auras (e.g. from skitterbots) but different. Or just some technical limitation.

Hey thanks, I posted my question there. Maybe I'll finally get some closure on this issue. I really miss the old ignite prolif chains with Elementalist.

Bumping: This bug still occurs as of 3.18, and it isn't in the patch notes for 3.19.
