Failed to Oodle decompress

Getting this error alot lately.
After running PackCheck.exe the game fixes it self for the next like 30 minutes. Then I have to run itt again.

Is this just my SSD dying on me or something PoE related?

Hi! Had the same problem today. The game just crashed without any errors when I went to two different maps from Kirac. It just closed with each new attempt to enter the instance (portals remained in place; attempts were not counted by the server).

You can try going to the "Steam" or "SteamLibrary" folder then > steamapps > common. Right click on the "Path of Exile" folder and uncheck "only for read" then hit "OK" and "Apply". The game will load missing files.

I just tried many different settings and this seems to be the only one that worked for me. Hope it helps!

Hi there, I'm having a similar problem, but when I change to read only and hit apply. game still crashes and the setting for "read only" goes back like it isn't saving, any ideas?

Anyone have any other ideas? Still can't load the game

I have discovered that this should be caused by CPU frequency doubling, even if you did not overclock your CPU (I believe it is a bug in the new patch that causes Intel CPU to crash at high frequencies, but I cannot verify it. Several people like me all own the 13700K CPU, and I do not guarantee that 13900K people will not experience this error)

You can solve it by reducing the CPU doubling frequency in the BIOS, which will lose your CPU performance and pose a risk of system crash

There is another method (of course, I use this method). You can choose to create a power plan in the Windows control panel, select Processor Power Management - Maximum Processor State 99% in Advanced Power Settings, and confirm (this option turns off the functionality of Intel CPU Core). Then, select this power plan to use it normally (please confirm that you are using this 99% power plan), Of course, this will also result in a loss of your CPU's maximum performance, which may be 20%, but the multi core 13700 will compensate for this performance loss, and I did not feel any significant delay in the game.

can confirm experiencing the same issue with 13900K CPU

Also 13900KF haver - check out my solution in here. I hope it works for you, just fixed my own problem
