PSA: Shaping the Skies does not work if you have free crafts remaining

Each league, the map device gives a free use for all options.

If you have any remaining, Shaping the Skies does not proc.

Tested it, as I had 1 x Domination free craft remaining.
Ran 150 maps.
zero Shaping the Skies.

Used the domination.
ran 20 maps, now Shaping the Skies proc'd 3 times.

incorrect.

I had my free beyond and it gave me a free domination.

the real PSA is... this atlas passive was bugged until recently.

I'm convinced this is still bugged as I'm having a similar experience to the OP.

Before I first heard about this bug I was farming essences and beasts just churning through white maps, must have done almost 200 maps without it proccing once.
Use up my free craft = get a free one within the next 20ish maps.
Run dozens and dozens additional maps while having a free craft available = never get another.
Spend the free craft and again receive another within the next 15 maps.
I understand random chance can produce some outliers but this sure feels unlikely to be working as intended.

I suspect having 7th gate allocated could have something to do with it although wouldn't be surprised to hear the same thing happened to someone without 7th gate.

In previous leagues it was working for sure - several times I used 4-5 free crafts in a row (same craft).
