Armageddon Brand and Swiftbrand question

I know its not even close to meta, but ive been having fun with an Arma Brand character... however, ive noticed in other builds that use it, none of them take swiftbrand. Swiftbrand was almost a must take whenever I played storm brand. Just curious if there is a negative to using it for arma brand?

Armageddon Brand is mostly played as an ignite build, and since ignites do not stack their damage, there is no point in improving the activation frequency rather than the damage per hit.

So while there is no direct downside other than the lowered duration, a different support gem that actually boosts the damage of the ignite will be better.

If you want to play a hit-based Armageddon Brand build, Swiftbrand is probably a good choice.
