Cannot complete "Death and Rebirth" after killing Kitava in Act 10

After completing the Death and Rebirth quest where Lani gives you an option to choose utility flasks, I decided to hold off deciding which utility flask I wanted until after I fix my flask setup for maps. After killing Kitava I no longer have the option to finish the quest after speaking to Lani.
