Does dmg Effectiveness affects dot dmg?

For example i wanted to do blade blast poison cuz by just physical dmg buff it got 47% more dmg and it also got
New: Effectiveness of Added Damage 70% Old: Effectiveness of Added Damage 50% So does it actually affect dot dps? Last bumped on Feb 3, 2022, 10:31:02 AM

Yes if that added damage is a source that can poison, or you convert it to such.
so by default on blade blast any source you have of physical or chaos damage to spells is more effective than prior and contributes more to poison in this case. Last edited by Draegnarrr#2823 on Feb 3, 2022, 9:55:01 AM

Flat damage effects DoT damage IF and only IF the Dot is based on flat damage.
Poison, Bleed, and Ignite are based on flat damage. Cold DoT and Chaos Dot's do not. If the DoT is based on flat damage, then increased damage effectiveness increases the DoT damage. |
