Eternal Blessing + Blood Magic/Arrogance

Hey, anyone gotten any clarification on if you can use Eternal Blessing alongside life reserve? or Auras that have no reservation cost?

I know they updated Essence Worm to not work, but I was planning a Champion that uses blood magic linked to some auras + a banner and was wondering if that would still be possible.

Eternal Blessing reads:
"Your non-blessing skills which reserve mana are disabled while you have an aura from a supported skill on you"

Which leads me to believe that a skill that reserves 0 mana, and skills that reserve life, should technically work. I would like some more concrete clarification though before I commit to a league starter that potentially is DOA.

I was thinking the same thing, but was hoping I could find a fun league starter that isn't traps cause that seems pretty mainstream

Eternal Blessing Support

supports aura skills that reserve life or mana to create auras around you. It makes an aura free, and prevents you reserving mana.

Supported Skills have no Reservation
Non-Curse Auras from Supported Skills have 5% increased Effect
Supported Skills also count as Blessing Skills
You can only have one Aura on you from your Blessing Skills
Your Non-Blessing Skills which Reserve Mana are Disabled while you have an Aura from a Supported Skill on you

GGG stated this gem should have been a trade-off for the removal of Mortal Conviction. Originally, Mortal Conviction still allowed you to reserve your life with other non-aura skills, and the Ultimatum patch made quite clear that the words "Mana Cost" and "Life Cost" (and, to an extention, reservation) were two distinct things now.

So, if we take it literally and we follow the original GGG idea, I'd say Eternal Blessing will still allow other Mana Reserving skills to work, so long that Mana Reservation is turned into Life Reservation

One thing I'd say without doubt: Eternal Blessing is a perfect match for Arrogance
