I need help with Dying Breath
If i use some Curses and Auras with Dying Breath equiped and them weapon swap, the "increased effects..." MODs from this weapon are going to stop working?
So, i think every Aura on me and Curses on enemies are going to lose these bonus, thats right? Supreme Ego had some issues before 3.11.1: "Fixed a bug when using the Supreme Ego keystone passive where an aura would retain the '50% more Effect on you' after unallocating Supreme Ego." You will lose the aura benefits from the staff when it's swapped if they're not temporary auras. The curse effect should still work for the remainder of their duration for curses you cast before swapping. And if you're using Vaal auras or something, they may be able to continue benefiting after swap as well so long as you cast them first.
If you're dealing with fixed auras of any kind or blasphemy curses though, you lose all benefits when you swap. I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German. Last edited by aggromagnet#5565 on Jan 20, 2022, 11:54:23 PM

Not relevant to your question, but bear in mind you are not your own ally and do not benefit from the 18% increased damage.

Curses you apply definitely snapshot. I can't remember for certain about temporary auras and similar effects, but I'm pretty sure they do. There isn't much purpose in that though, as usually with temp auras you want to keep the main aura reserved too. Not always, but usually. That's easy enough to go test on yourself in your hideout though... :) I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German. Last edited by aggromagnet#5565 on Jan 21, 2022, 1:59:35 AM

Thanks, I did not know that this is called snapshot.
Yeah, im going to test it, i dont know why but i was thinking i would need March of the Legion to try and this costs 1 exalt in standard, but i can just try it with smite or something like that. |
