What is the current skill gem attribute cap?

As the gems max I am noticing (newish player) the attribute requirements are increasing. My first build was a disaster, lol, with me not having anywhere near my caps. My second roll is doing much better. Im dont die all the time, mainly, from reading all your posts, making adjustments. Im not Min Max or hardcore, I just really enjoy the game, and all the various mechanics, the insane level of depth I hope to learn by 2050 :-) I had read that the skill gem attribute requirements don't endlessly increase, there is a cap. Is that cap the level of the gem? And if so, what is that level? I searched for a good hour to see if there was some sort of table that noted how much of a given attribute I would need on a given gem, can't find anything on the topic. You can find this table on any PoE database sites (poedb.tw, poewiki.net, pathofexile.fandom.com). For each skill gem there is a lvl progression table with lvl and attribute requirements

I had used one of those several times for synergy but never had seen the table. That said, as of Dec 2021 - in case anyone searches and finds this post, the max value cap is 155 in (fill in the blank) for all ten I looked at, all colors. So to use a maxed out gem that requires, say, dexterity, you'll need 155 of Dexterity to not level out of the gem. Good to know!

It helps to know that as a newbie in terms of planning! But Im a long ways from that - lol

159 is for single stat gems.
Some gems need 2 stats, then the level 21 gem needs a much lower cap, but of both stats. Example: Summon flame Golem needs 70 int and 100 str at level 21 |
