Suddenly huge stuttering on High end PC

Hello everybody,

today I woke up in the morning ready to check on my POE character to grind some maps and unfortunately I had to see that my game was running extremely bad with gamebreaking stuttering, running on more than 100 fps with sudden stuttering drops to about 30 fps.
Which is unplayable for me.
Never had this problem before and I dont seem to be able to resolve this issue alone.

been playing poe for years with no issues and now suddenly getting 100% CPU usage...

edit: believe this started 3 days ago also. Was there a patch that broke something. Pretty confident its not any of my components fault, using windows 10

Same thing just happened to me this morning. Does reinstalling fix the issue?

Wait is this happening to more of you guys? When I launched today, poe had switched to fullscreen instead of borderless, and my frames are always below 60 today? I usually dont dip far below 100. What hardware are you guys running?

RTX 2070 Super with the 3700x here. Cant seem to find a fix anywhere. Theres no vsnc or anything on? Are you guys runing windows 11? I just did another update and i went to below 30 now bruh. DirectX 11 seems to work a bit better than vulcan. Vulcan seems to have completely ripped after the update. The CPU seems to be peaking hard with crazy lag spikes. Never seen this before.

Same here it started yesterday... high end pc game was smooth AF. Reinstalled the game, did a clean setup of the newest drivers and game still stutters a lot.

Hmm, my frames came back just changing the lighting setting to only shadows. No idea what the issue is. Also went back to 20 fps after exiting a map. I then clicked on a website on my second monitor and it went back to 130. Its like it switches do background mode randomly for some reason?

Update, happned again once i entered a map went to like 20-50 fps, just clicked anywhere on my second monitor and it jumped back to 130 instantly. If you guys have a second monitor try it out. Seems like the game puts itself in background mode randomly for some reason.

This is not normal at all, getting 99% or 100% CPU usage spikes every few seconds. This is only in poe and happens sometimes even in hideout. Game is unplayable :(

any fix? Would like to play endless delve

Same here, started with the Scourge league. Some areas are fine but some have CPU usage spikes every few seconds. The worst is The Rogue Harbor, game freezes every second for a fraction of second cause of CPU spikes.

Also I noticed that some flaming mobs cause CPU spikes, like Vaal Arsonists in Act 7 Vaal City area.
