Orb of Annulment 100% chance to make your item worthless ............ This is my experience Every single item i have used one on.. Has lost the most important buff/stat etc i wanted to keep on that item. The entire reason why i used the orb at all. 100% Not that i get that many... The orbs are more rare then Exalts Just thought i would share this FACT .............................. Note to Self .. Stop trying to craft anything.. Its simply not worth the effort or time. Once I made a 6 ex wand into 20ex wand with a single orb of annulment.

It was a 6 mods wand with +1 All Spell Skill Gems and +1 All Minion Gems (66% chance to be able to benchcraft something nice on it, 33% chance to brick the item)
But yeah, if there are more then 2 stats that you want to keep on an item, you have like 95% chance to brick the item. In most cases, you want to use it after crafting Prefixes/Suffixes cannot be changed. Last edited by 6_din_49#4066 on Nov 16, 2021, 6:57:27 PM

to OP: there are two points I want clarification on.
1) were you using metacrafts? Metacraft changes the odds from 1 in 6 to 1 in 3 which is a drastic difference. Still very low, but reasonable for what you are attempting to do. You really shouldn't ever be using an Annul without prefix/suffix cannot be changed unless you are going for the PERFECT perfect item in which case it should be a huge brick chance. 2. Orbs of annulment are most certainly NOT more rare than exalts. Run a few beachheads and you have a ton. 3. Orbs of Annulment are pure, easily calculable odds. The hyperbole is surely brought on by frustration but come on, its a 33% chance at worst if you are using them correctly which is pretty damn good in PoE standards.
