What is the chance of getting 3 passive skills on a cluster jewel?

I just wasted 1,000 chaos orbs on a single cluster jewel. All I wanted was to see 3, just once 3 passive skills. Didn't happen. Not even once. I know I fucked up but I also want to know whether I am extremely unlucky or you need to literally roll a single jewel thousands of times to get 1 good result.

i use Harvest for that, i had better luck that chaos spamming (even if GGG want us to chaos spam with is truly fuck up)

A other way would be to alt + regal to have the 3 desired mod.

Chaos orbs is a terrible way to roll cluster. Depending on cluster harvest or fossils are drastically better.

that sounds pretty unlucky even by the standards of cluster jewels, which are pretty harsh standards ya.

not quite THAT harsh usually but id expect a number in the 100s on average?


i just do the large ones with harvest or fossils that target the mod types im looking for, like phys or chaos etc. jewels where most of the mods arnt actually tagged with the jewels theme, like large fire clusters for example where most of the mods are not fire tagged... theyre a fking nightmare to roll.

Yea I wasted about 500 alteration orbs and didn't get a single double mod. Not going to try again.

What type of cluster jewel? Are there 2 notable prefixes and at least 1 notable suffix that are possible on that jewel? Craft of Exile will show you the estimated number of attempts to hit the result.

Its chaos damage. There are multiple jewels with 3 notables for sale so it is not like its impossible to get 3. Not sure how to check the probability.
